There was a partial eclipse for most of the US and a total eclipse for quite a bit of the country. It made me start to think about how neat it might be to witness an eclipse out on the water. I don't think I could repeat that day for the life of me nowadays since I've gotten older. I do have many memories of being out on the lake with my brothers and sisters and some family friends being towed around while my buddy's dad did his best to make us fly off the inner tube.
